Milt Alderman
Milt Alderman is the Breeding Manager at Oklahoma Stud Ranch. His background makes him a natural for the job. He served as the Farm and Breeding Manager for Paws Up Ranch, standing the stallions and managing the Lipson Broodmare band. Prior to that, he was a horse trainer for the first 20 years of his working life, and did his share of winning. He applied for his AQHA judge's card along the way and has become one of the most respected judges in the country. Alderman has judged both the Congress and the World Show and big shows coast to coast. Alderman's expertise runs the gamut from pleasure to cutting. He worked for many years for the famous cutting horse breeder, Joe Ayers, who stood the great Freckles Merada. He started all the colts for Ayers.
Four children and a commitment as a family man made life as a colt-breaker impossible, and when the chance came to join the Paws Up Quarter Horses team, Alderman was ready. He was equally ready to sign on with Oklahoma Stud Ranch, allowing a smooth transition from Paws Up Ranch.
